A legal disclaimer
This policy covers the Lalita website at lalitalife.com and the launch list you can join from it. It does not describe the Lalita service itself, which is not yet open. When the service opens, a separate policy will cover it, and you will be able to read that policy before you decide whether to use it.

What Lalita is, and what it is not
Lalita is a structured conversational practice delivered over WhatsApp. It is not therapy, not medical care, and not a crisis service. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice, and it cannot summon help on your behalf.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are in emotional crisis, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
Who can join the launch list
The launch list is open to adults aged 18 and over who live in the United States. The form asks you to confirm both before you submit.
What we collect
If you join the launch list, we collect:

The name you enter.

The email address you enter.

The confirmations you tick, recording that you told us you are 18 or older, that you live in the United States, and that you agreed to this policy and to the terms.

Basic technical information that any website receives when you visit, such as your browser type, approximate region, and the pages you opened. This comes from our website host and is used to understand whether the site is working.
That is everything. The site does not ask for a phone number, and joining the list does not start a WhatsApp conversation or create any account.
What we do with it
We use your name and email for one purpose: to contact you about Lalita opening.
In practice that means one of two things. Either the founder writes to you personally to invite you into a small early group, or you receive an email when Lalita launches publicly. There is no automated marketing sequence, no newsletter, and no drip campaign.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for advertising of any kind, on this site or anywhere else.
Who else handles it
Wix hosts lalitalife.com and stores launch list submissions on our behalf. Wix has its own privacy policy governing how it handles that data.
We do not send launch list data to anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your name and email until Lalita launches and you have been contacted, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. If Lalita does not launch, we delete the list.
Removing yourself
Email hello@lalitalife.com and ask to be removed. We will delete your name and email and confirm that we have done it. You do not need to give a reason.
Any email we send you about Lalita opening will also include a way to unsubscribe.
Your choices about your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@lalitalife.com. Because the launch list holds only a name and an email address, these requests are quick to answer.
Security
Information is stored with encryption in transit and at rest through our website host. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
Lalita is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has joined the launch list, email hello@lalitalife.com and we will delete the record.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If Lalita opens and the service begins collecting information, that will be covered by a new and separate policy rather than by an edit to this one.
